Miracle Swimming: New Lessons for Adults Afraid in Water. The most effective, fun, transforming, successful adult swimming class in the world today. Start from where you are today. Participate, and watch your mind change as you come to understand principles of learning that are not taught elsewhere. See what happens when you're taught what you really want to know. Our method is such a breakthrough in teaching that we hope it will transform all teaching everywhere. Feedback on classes is unsurpassed. Learn to remain in control in water, shallow and deep. Learn how the water works. Go at your own pace.
Please be at class at 3:45 pm on the first day to allow more time to arrive and get settled. We are admitted to the pool at the beginning of our rental time, 4:00. We recommend wearing your suit under your clothes. We must vacate the building BY the end time of class. Showering at home is recommended to maximize class time.
We urge you to purchase a wetsuit vest ($30) for this class and for subsequent water play in the years ahead. If you buy the correct size, it will allow you to be in the water longer than without one. Since our classes are 2 hours in the water, a vest makes a difference. Everyone is glad they have one. Click the link to purchase a vest from the supplier we use. Give yourself at least 10 days to receive the vest. Remember you may need to get another size if you don't order two.
Choosing a size:
Please take this information literally. When people buy too large, they are cold in the pool. We encourage you to buy 2 sizes and return one that's too big. In order to keep you warm, a wetsuit has to fit snugly: zero space between it and your body. It's better for the vest to be too small than too big. It stretches a bit in the water.
Men's sizes are straightforward: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL
Women's size equivalents:
6, 8: Extra Small
10, 12: Small
14, 16: Medium
18, 20: Large
Many people tell us they wish they'd had the advantage of reading our book, Conquer Your Fear of Water before class. Save time: read the book first.
